Fourth Graders have been asked to finish up and/or share their "Identity Brainstorm" with a parent or older sibling tonight. As noted in last weeks blog- we will be exploring Identity throughout the year in Humanities. Fourth graders began a brainstorm today about themselves- looking to find clues as to what make them unique, or as it were put, What makes you YOU? Students were given ample time (a double block of 80 minutes) but we have asked for this sheet to come home to aid in further discussion and to help those students who might need some background info on where they were born, their lineage, heritage, culture etc.
There is a student example below, as well as some guiding questions that were developed during class today.
Thanks so much for your support!
